"Patrick" made his show debut in 2006 as a puppy. His first practice show was the Greater Fredericksburg Kennel Club's fall 2005 match where he took the Herding Group when he was six months old! In February 2006 he earned a class placement at the Palmetto Pembroke Welsh Corgi Club's Specialty in South Carolina. Then it was on to his first major (which was owner-handled), Group Placements, and his AKC championship by finishing with two back-to-back majors in October 2006! He then moved on into AKC Obedience competitions and obtained his Companion Dog Title in 2008 and Companion Dog Excellent in 2009 (earning one leg at the National Specialty and winning his class as well). He also earned his AKC Rally Excellent title and Canine Good Citizen. Patrick was owned, trained and loved by Martha and Ray Graham of Deer Meadow Farm in Catlett, Virginia.
